On the growth of components with non-fixed excesses

چکیده
Denote by an l-component a connected graph with l edges more than vertices. We prove that the expected number of creations of (l + 1)-component, by means of adding a new edge to an l-component in a randomly growing graph with n vertices, tends to 1 as l, n tends to ∞ but with l = o(n1/4). We also show, under the same conditions on l and n, that the expected number of vertices that ever belong to an l-component is ∼ (12l)1/3n2/3.

Using Neural Network to Determine Input Excesses, Output Shortfalls and Efficiency of Dmus in Russell Mode
Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) has two fundamental approaches for assessing theefficiency with different characteristics; radial and non-radial models. This paper isconcerned the non-radial model of Russell which is a non linear model. Conventional DEAfor a large dataset with many inputs/outputs would require huge computer resources in termsof memory and CPU time. Artificial Neural Network (AN...

The present study was conducted to investigate the comparative impacts of three types of EFL teach- ers' mindsettings on EFL learners' grammar achievement. The participants of the study were English Translation undergraduate students (both female and male with the age ranging of 18-35) who were selected according to convenience non-random sampling from three classes of English Grammar 1 at both...
متن کاملA Software for Prediction of Periodic Response of Non-linear Multi Degree of Freedom Rotors Based on Harmonic Balances
It is the purpose of this paper to introduce a computer software that is developed for the analysis of general multi degree of freedom rotor bearing systems with non-linear support elements. A numerical-analytical method for the prediction of steady state periodic response of large order nonlinear rotor dynamic systems is addressed which is based on the harmonic balance technique. By utilizing ...
متن کاملModel Selection for Mixture Models Using Perfect Sample
We have considered a perfect sample method for model selection of finite mixture models with either known (fixed) or unknown number of components which can be applied in the most general setting with assumptions on the relation between the rival models and the true distribution. It is, both, one or neither to be well-specified or mis-specified, they may be nested or non-nested. We consider mixt...
